In a note dated June 8th 2011, Yannick Gendron, historian and teacher, says on his website that the research is ongoing at trying to solve the mystery of who really is the Sieur de Laviolette, founder of Trois-Rivières, Québec.
He says that soon an article will appear on his website giving a little more information about this unsolved historical mystery, more precisely, about the tombstone location of Sieur de Laviolette and more.
